Poppy Jamie was just 19-years-old, she became the youngest ever entertainment correspondent at one of the UK’s largest news organisations ITN. She has accomplished an impressive amount in her comparatively short career. “You’re a breath of fresh air,” said Jude Law after being interviewed by Poppy and the likes of George Clooney, Tom Cruise and Nicki Minaj would no doubt agree. At only 23-years old, this unique TV presenter has accomplished an extraordinary amount. Poppy’s not only interviewed the world’s biggest celebrities including Hollywood heroes like Jennifer Aniston, music legends like Madonna and fashion icons like Anna Wintour (this is just to name a few), but she also has a politics degree from the prestigious London School of Economics.
Poppy’s enthusiasm and energy for life is infectious and evident in everything she does. No matter who it is, you can always count on Poppy to “Poppy” an interview. She recently played golf with Samuel L. Jackson, rapped with Hugh Jackman, role-played with Quentin Tarantino, gossiped with One Direction, and danced with Rebel Wilson. Her imagination and quirky interviewing style is what sets her apart.
Poppy hosts the entertainment news bulletins for ITV2 and 5* and her interviews syndicate on major networks including the ITV News, London Tonight, 4music and Channel 5. Poppy can often be seen on a variety of shows as a talking head chatting all things entertainment and reacting to breaking showbiz news.
