Ingredients
- Snake Gourd (parwal)- 500 gms
- Mustard Oil -10 ml
- Potato (Boiled) - 250 gms
- Green Chillies (Chopped) - 5 nos.
- Coriander Leaves - 10 gms
- Salt To Taste
- Garam Masala Powder - 2 gms
- Onion - 50 gms
- Panch Foran - 5 gms
- Turmeric 1 gm
Instructions
- Scrape the surface remove the seeds and clean and cut the parwal into 2-inch long cylinders.
- Rub a little salt on the insides and keep aside.
- Mix together boiled potato, green chillies, garam masala power, coriander leaves, salt.
- Stuff the snake gourd with this mixture and keep aside.
- Heat the mustard oil in a kadai or nonstick pan and add the panch foran. When it crackles add chopped onion and saut for 5 minutes.
- Add the stuffed parwal. Sprinkle little turmeric and salt, if necessary, and cover.
- Cook till the parwal is soft and tender.
- Serve hot.
