As we near towards the end of another Eventful Year, 2016, its time to reflect on the time gone by and plan upon what lies ahead. Each year end, celebrities offer a variety of truly original New Year resolutions. Some of the goals stars have shared in recent years include making friends with a lion, achieving immortality, creating crazy-patterned socks and being nicer to the father of one’s children.

Last year (2016), Kourtney Kardashian vowed to “live more in the present and less on my phone,” Andy Grammer, who was coming off a breakout year, tweeted, “For my resolution, I think I’m gonna try to meditate everyday.” Rachel Platten, too, who had her most successful year (2015)  to date, and had said, “My resolution for 2016 is to stay present & be grateful.”

1. Stay Healthy:

Join a gym, Do yoga, Eat healthy, etc. Going to the gym not only helps you physically, mentally and emotionally. It keeps you feeling good in general. It doesn’t matter if you go to the gym for just 30 minutes a day. You are doing something fantastic for your body, mind and soul. Going to the gym is refreshing and it literally does help you relax by releasing those feel good endorphin’s. If there’s one good New Year’s resolution idea out there, it’s going to be this one because it tends to improve your life in more than one way.

2. Stop Wasting Time:

With every passing year, time is becoming the precious gold or sapphire to possess, so get into the habit of using every minute of your hour wisely as it will not be coming back to you. It has been appropriately said by Victor Hugo “He who every morning plans the transaction of the day and follows out that plan, carries a thread that will guide him through the maze of the most busy life. But where no plan is laid, where the disposal of time is surrendered merely to the chance of incidence, chaos will soon reign.”

3. Increase Your Spirituality:

Carrying a good attitude can make up most situations in your life. It doesn’t matter what or who you believe in as long as you feel spiritually well fed. If you feel you’re missing a ‘something,’ in your life—maybe it’s time to find that ‘spirituality,’ and add it to your life. Do good for others or add peace to your life. If you think positive you’ll attract positivity.

4. Improve Your Skills:

You get better opportunities when you have better skills. The art of being yourself at your best is the art of unfolding your personality into the woman you want to be. 5. Travel:

Traveling is the best way to learn. The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes. Did you know that having a hobby is good for you? Hobbies can lower your stress levels, boost your brain power, improve your ability to focus, and more. Therefore, in 2017, start a new hobby. A hobby is more than just a way to have fun. It can give you a sense of self-efficacy. A hobby can be a creativity outlet. Also, having hobbies keeps your brain engaged and gives you something to look forward to.

8. Eat Fewer Calories:

Carrying excess weight puts us at a greater risk of a whole range of serious health problems, including heart disease, diabetes, and some cancers. 9. Track your progress:
