Kelly Brook is an English model, actress, entrepreneur, and television presenter. Katie Price previously known under the pseudonym Jordan, is an English media personality, author, former glamour model, occasional singer and businesswoman.
Her time as topless female glamour model in a pictorial Page Three in British tabloid newspaper The Sun instantly shot Price into the limelight. Her placement in the public spotlight allowed Price to expand into a variety of different industries including television, books, fashion and music.
With the rumour mill in overdrive concerning her relationships with Thom Evans and Danny Cipriani, mean words from Katie Price are hardly what Kelly Brook needed to deal with.
But in the face of Jordan’s inappropriate digs about her weight, Kelly has spoken out about these ‘unladylike’ comments.
‘I was really disappointed when I heard what had been said. It is unladylike as far as Im concerned for another woman to say that sort of thing publicly about another woman.’
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, the model/actress said, ‘I wasnt angry with what she said, just confused.
‘I definitely dont look like a heifer and its not something I am going to lose any sleep over.
‘I was only angry because the comments put a dampener on such an amazing trip to Miami to shoot by New Look campaign.’
The 33-year old has been designing clothing, swimwear and lingerie collections for the high street fashion retailer since 2006, with her garments championing curvier figures like her own.
But in the wake of Kelly’s rebuttle – ‘I think she is very silly making comments like that and thank God I dont take thinks personally’ – Katie has stuck by her confusing choice of words, blaming the readers’ misinterpretation of phrases like ‘heffer’ and ‘FLABbergasted’.
The 34-year old tweeted: ‘I don’t think girls read sun [column] right as I never slagged off bigger girls my sister is bigger and curvy women are sexy and men prefere that’.
But reading her column in The Sun, it is unsurprising many readers saw it as a personal attack on Kelly: ‘Rumour has it shes been hanging out with our mutual ex Danny Cipriani. Knowing him, I guess shes probably been doing a bit of comfort eating. Youre a heffer Kelly, but still a hot one.’
But the mother-of-two justified her rude comments by the fact that she herself receives nasty opinions everyday:
‘I love the fact people comment on my opinions! everyone has nasty opinions to say about me I havent said anything untrue just my observation’.
