Helping the Body Heal Itself

Helping the Body Heal Itself

Reported April 28, 2008

ORLANDO, Fla. (Ivanhoe Newswire) — A device for sports injuries, acute and chronic pain, depression, Parkinson’s disease, migraines and even wrinkles? Sound too good to be true? Doctors say it might not be thanks to low frequency pulsed magnetic resonance cell rejuvenation.

Low frequency pulsed magnetic resonance cell rejuvenation has been used and tested by Western Europeans for decades, but it’s now starting to make its way to the United States. The body is made up of 70 trillion cells, each having a specific function. The average cell membrane potential of normal cells is between 70 and 90 millivolts, but disease can reduce that to 20 millivolts, preventing cells from functioning properly, Nancy DeJesus, M.D., president and CEO of BioMed Wellness, LLC in Delray Beach, Fla., told Ivanhoe.

She says magnetic resonance helps the body “heal itself” at a cellular level by using pulsating magnetic fields. “Our body responds not only to chemical properties and supplements,” Dr. DeJesus said. “Our body also needs the right energetic environment for the cells to function at optimum capacity. Magnetic resonance is able to reach every single cell in the body.”

In her practice, Dr. DeJesus uses a system that generates a “sophisticated frequency” that resonates within body. Electrical current flows through metallic coils to create a magnetic field, which generates microcurrents inside the body without the need for electrodes. For an added benefit, Dr. DeJesus said she also incorporates color and sound therapy with the device.

Magnetic resonance can improve the oxygen usage of cells and increase their production of ATP, or energy, critical to cell function, Dr. DeJesus explained. According to her, the device may have a wide variety of benefits including nerve regeneration, pain relief, improved digestive functioning, stress relief and normalization of heart rate. In addition, it may improve the effect of medications, supplements and nutrients due to improved metabolism and circulation. “By providing the right energy and the right frequency, we jump start your natural healing processes, in some cases without the need for drugs or medication,” she said.

By the year 2050, there will be twice as many 60-year-olds as there are newborns, which is why Dr. DeJesus urges people to take steps today to stay fit and healthy. “In essence, what we’re doing is managing diseases. We need to change our mentality and think about reversing diseases.”

According to Dr. DeJesus, low frequency pulsed magnetic resonance cell rejuvenation is FDA approved for the treatment of nonunion fractures.
